Noir at the Bar Seattle is a high-energy literary night where crime fiction steps off the page and onto the stage. Featuring live readings from regional standouts and nationally recognized noir authors, the event is currently sponsored by the Northwest Chapter of the Mystery Writers of America. Past hosts include Michael Poole, Will Viharo, Nick Feldman, and now Scotti Andrews, each bringing their own style and flair to the mic.

Founded in 2014, Noir at the Bar Seattle has enjoyed long-running stints at the Fireside Room at Hotel Sorrento and the Alibi Room, becoming a beloved fixture of the city’s literary scene. The mission of Noir at the Bar is to provide mystery, crime, and noir writers a vibrant platform to share new work, test fresh material, and connect directly with readers in an intimate, welcoming setting.
